The dietetics Department at Om Multispeciality Hospital strives to establish and encourage good nutrition practice and provide good nutrition care to the patients and normal individuals.
The department has a dietetics team consisting of four expert Dieticians.
The dietetics team provides high-quality dietetic service to the hospital patients.
Dietetics service is available to the patients 24 hours a day.
Diets are provided to the patients according to diagnosis of patients
The Dieticians remain active in patient's care and keep reporting the nutritional status of the patients as well as act as an adviser to the Physicians and the medical team.
The Dieticians present a nutritional assessment of the patients that may include information specific to ideal body weight, history of weight loss, pertinent laboratory values and anthropometric measurement.
The diets are provided to the patients based on Science of Nutrition.
The Dieticians remain in touch with the patients and visit them twice daily.
The Dieticians help the patients understand the nature of the disease and the dietary influence and its management.
